ALL THAT GLITTERS April 2004 | GSG Masthead |
FOOL'S GOLD by Wanda Le Sabre Earlier this year Gator Springs Gazette called upon its previous contributors to submit their very best short prose works for a special FOOL'S GOLD competition. The quality was high but our panel of judges has assayed the resulting onslaught of GSG Nuggets and the top contenders are showcased in this special issue: ALL THAT GLITTERS. The challenge: write a story in 50 - 200 words having at least one character and something vaguely resembling a plot - not just a character study or a slice of life. In this small package you must at least attempt to suggest a setting, conflict, climax and resolution. Getting into the spirit of things, several GSG contributors volunteered items to be used as prizes. Special thanks and love are heaped upon those generous souls, namely Beverly Jackson of Lit Pot Press, Jonathan Redhorse, Mary Deal, Denis Taillefer and Carrie Berry. Warm thanks are also extended to our anonymous panel of hard-working judges: © Wanda Le Sabre 2004 |

The editors find traditional submission methods dirty and depressing, so we are currently only accepting submissions telepathically. If you really need to get through to us, you will find a way.
NOTE: Telepathically challenged readers are urged to follow the ABOUT GSG link found above under the FEATURES heading in the GSG Masthead. |
